Bluebell Holiday Home Dorset is a bright, modern, well-equipped holiday caravan situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within the award-winning Oakdene Forest Park, close to the Hurn Forest woodlands, The New Forest National Park, St. Leonards, Bournemouth, Poole, Ferndown, Ringwood, Christchurch, and Southbourne.
This contemporary lodge sleeps up to 6 guests in a double room, twin room, and fold-out lounge bed configuration. It benefits from its own private enclosed balcony and open-plan kitchen, living and dining spaces. The lodge is bright and airy, decorated with modern fixtures and fittings, cosy furniture pieces, and oak veneer finished units. All linen, bedding and towels are included to make your stay more enjoyable.

Fantastic stay at Oakdene Forest Park ☺We had such a fantastic stay at Oakdene Forest Park and genuinely couldn’t fault a thing! The location was brilliant for exploring the surrounding area. We had a lovely time visiting Bournemouth, Durdle Door and the beautiful Dorset coastline, with so many gorgeous places to explore nearby. It was the perfect base for getting out and about during the day and then coming back to a lovely, comfortable caravan in the evening. The swimming facilities were excellent, with both the indoor and outdoor pools being brilliant and a great addition to our stay. The caravan itself was excellent and really well equipped. The bedding and towels, park passes were provided, along with tea , coffee, shower gel , hand soaps and cleaning products ,which was such a thoughtful touch. It really felt like everything had been provided to make our stay as comfortable and hassle-free as possible. A special mention has to go to our hosts, David and Rose, who were absolutely excellent. They were lovely, welcoming hosts and made everything so easy from start to finish. We genuinely have no complaints. We had a wonderful holiday, enjoyed the facilities at the park and couldn’t have asked for a better caravan or hosts. We would 100% stay again and would highly recommend David and Rose’s caravan to anyone looking for a lovely base to explore Dorset. ❤️
Gorgeous place, so homely. Everything we needed and more. Very clean and well equipped accommodation. Lovely site too with helpful and friendly staff. My 5 year old loved the on site swimming pool with slide, we went daily! David and Rose were amazing, so helpful and responsive. There instructions for check in and check out we're super straightforward. Would definitely recommend and visit in the future. Thank you!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The location is peaceful and the caravan itself was nice, well equipped with everything we needed. A couple of small things could be improved. Personally, I found the bed linen a little too worn and some areas could benefit from a bit more attention when cleaning, particularly the silicone utensils next to the cooker, where we noticed some grease, dust and hair. There were also quite a lot of ants. We couldn't leave any food out overnight and even found them inside the bread box. Of course, I understand that this is nature and not necessarily the owner's fault, but it may be useful for future guests to be aware of it. Apart from these points, everything was fine and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.
A few days away with the grandchildren. A must visit is to Moors Valley . We also went to monkey world , and had a beach afternoon in Swanage bay . Stay was good , everything you needed . Had a small issue with Ants but to be expected as it’s been so hot , didn’t bother us too much . Beds were comfy . Shower was great. Shame the terrace is quite small and a bit too much unnecessary furniture on it imho ! And a table parasol would be good as the sun is very hot on it all day and this would make it more usable especially with kids. But all in all a lovely place in a beautiful area .

They also provided a fan for the main bedroom. The swimming facilities were great for our kids (primary age), a good number of pools and the slide was loved. ☹There were a couple of broken items, which they told us about on the day. I would say the messages read as if this was newly discovered by the cleaners, but seems it had been ongoing for a while. There were also a lot of ants, but that may just be caravan life.

It's also close to the pool etc. The centre itself is basic and the Ents were poor / non existent (but was slightly out of season so hopefully better then). The accommodation itself was very well equipped with everything we needed, and was comfortable and clean. Communication was good. The wifi was also pretty decent for a holiday park and fast enough for our needs. ☹There were cracked garden chairs and a broken, taped up, window in the small bedroom. These weren't huge issues and we would likely have continued with the booking anyway, but we were only informed on the day of arrival, despite seeing a review that mentioned them in June so not happy about that. The bedding needs an upgrade - it's polycotton (didn't help in the heat) and getting a bit threadbare. There was a fan provided, but could do with another one so both bedrooms have one in the evening - got very hot.
Exceptional Stay, shame it was only for a few days. I would definitely stay here again. Bargain in cost ☺The location, pools/restaurant/shop/bar on site, inside was very modern and well kept up to date. Bus stop 10minute walk, not far in the car to local town 15mins. Both host were excellent. ☹Nothing.

We had a lovely stay at David and Rose's caravan. Its location on the holiday park is great, it's at the end of a cul-de-sac so nice and private, and is only a short walk to the main facilities. David was kind, friendly and timely in his communication with me, which was much appreciated. I wanted to give the overall experience 5*'s, but on this occasion there were just a couple of minor things that could have been better. I have communicated these things to David and he expressed his appreciation for the well-intentioned feedback. I feel confident that if we were to go again, these minor things will have been attended to. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Loved our 4 night stay here. The caravan was spotless had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. Was lovely sitting outside the caravan on the decking area in the sunshine, very relaxing and peaceful. Great location, a lot of activities for children on site and the evening entertainment was fun. Short drive to Bournemouth beaches and the new Forrest. Shops and restaurants also near by. David and Rose were great hosts, very responsive and recommended us a lovely restaurant. We had a lovely stay. The caravan was perfect for the 4 of us! Everything exactly as pictured and described! Very responsive host with clear communication and plenty of helpful instructions prior to arrival. Not the biggest complex compared to previous places we have visited, but perfect for our young family - the pools are a great bonus to this place !! Very nice caravan, clean and tidy. We had everything we needed. Shop, restaurant,club house and swimming pool and a sauna room on site. The owners kept in touch via text to make sure everything was ok.

A nice few days away in the February half term. We have been to this site a few times before as it is easy to get to, has an indoor pool with a clean changing and shower area which is useful for rainy days, shop and a cafe/restaurant which is all we need for a 3 night stay. We didn't see any of the entertainment or book activities so can't comment on that. The Location is good - a couple of country parks and a large Sainsburys a short drive away, a good base for getting out and about. We took the kids to Splashdown as they enjoy it there and my daughter and husband went to Ringwood Raceway which was fun. Accommodation was nice, had all we needed for three nights, very clean and tidy.

The master bedroom has a double bed, with two bedside cabinets, over-bed storage units, a vanity unit, and a double wardrobe in a lovely room at the rear. There is also an ensuite WC room with toilet, basin, and shelving.
Down the hall, the twin bedroom features two single beds, a wardrobe with drawers, and shelving for each bed.

Exceptional ☺ Very clean and tidy. They had thought of every little thing from hand soap to towls, pots, pans, even salt pepper, and cooking oil. Highly recommend.
Wonderful location of caravan. Very easy to locate on the site. Immaculate inside with everything you need for your stay, just need to add food and fun. I would definitely consider staying there again. David was so helpful with our questions and really welcoming. Thank you so much.
We had a lovely stay at David and Rose's caravan. Its location on the holiday park is great, it's at the end of a cul-de-sac so nice and private, and is only a short walk to the main facilities. David was kind, friendly and timely in his communication with me, which was much appreciated. I wanted to give the overall experience 5*'s, but on this occasion there were just a couple of minor things that could have been better. I have communicated these things to David and he expressed his appreciation for the well-intentioned feedback. I feel confident that if we were to go again, these minor things will have been attended to. I would absolutely recommend staying here.
A wonderful stay at the Oakdene park in David’s Bluebell Caravan, lovely inside and out, a great park for families with lots to do and not to far from the beach or further places to see or things to do. Very friendly and helpful, always punctual with any questions and also when supplying the information for our stay which was easy to follow. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Loved our 4 night stay here. The caravan was spotless had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. Was lovely sitting outside the caravan on the decking area in the sunshine, very relaxing and peaceful. Great location, a lot of activities for children on site and the evening entertainment was fun. Short drive to Bournemouth beaches and the new Forrest. Shops and restaurants also near by. David and Rose were great hosts, very responsive and recommended us a lovely restaurant. We had a lovely stay. The caravan was perfect for the 4 of us! Everything exactly as pictured and described! Very responsive host with clear communication and plenty of helpful instructions prior to arrival. Not the biggest complex compared to previous places we have visited, but perfect for our young family - the pools are a great bonus to this place !! Location is close enough to surrounding attractions to keep everyone entertained. Would highly recommend as place to stay! Thanks again David & Rose !

Very nice caravan, clean and tidy. We had everything we needed. Shop, restaurant,club house and swimming pool and a sauna room on site. The owners kept in touch via text to make sure everything was ok.

Great place to stay and fantastic hosts. This venue is well recommended. The wild 'pets' laid on for entertainment ..... a squirrel who decided to come inside and pay us a visit.

A nice few days away in the February half term. We have been to this site a few times before as it is easy to get to, has an indoor pool with a clean changing and shower area which is useful for rainy days, shop and a cafe/restaurant which is all we need for a 3 night stay. We didn't see any of the entertainment or book activities so can't comment on that. The Location is good - a couple of country parks and a large Sainsburys a short drive away, a good base for getting out and about. We took the kids to Splashdown as they enjoy it there and my daughter and husband went to Ringwood Raceway which was fun. Accommodation was nice, had all we needed for three nights, very clean and tidy.
